NAACP Time!

Jordan and I are a the NAACP in Fulton County waiting to go drive people to vote… We got free chick fil-a and soda and now are waiting to be sent out. I had to get dressed up for a meeting so I look crazy but my nice pants are a little snug… Oh well!

i just finished reading this article about hospitals deporting patients in the times and it made me angry and sad and feeling totally crazy all at once. . . if you don’t have time to read it watch the video then – i seriously cannot even write anything it made me so fucking upset.

So I am in a rage, yet again . . . I am not sure what is going on but my blood seems to be in a perpetual state of boil.

Generally my day starts with Tammy waking me up at 5 am then I fall back asleep to be woken up by both my iphone and alarm clock. I make coffee and my ‘hippie cereal’ of flax, walnut, dried fruit and grain and sit down to watch the Today show. I don’t know why . . .well I do know. I don’t have cable and NBC is one of the few channels that doesn’t come in all fuzzy.

The Today show is terrible – it makes me embarrassed that Meredith Viera went to Tufts – she is giving my alma mater a bad name. But what got me going this fine morning was an interview with Giuliani about Obama and his so called penchant for ‘flip-flopping’.
