PASTORELA! PASTORELA!

we are making reservations to the pastorela that my mom has been BEYOND excited for (there is nothing like watching a play that was initially written to indoctrinate the precolumbians of mexico!) – i guess there will be a donkey and a devil.  when we asked our mom how they get the donkey into the hotel resort she said “i dunno! through the back door!” …  the menu is the queens soup (whatever that is!), mahi mahi covered in fine seeds (fine seeds, wha??)  and a gypsy log (which i think is the same as a christmas log).

Mazatlan and Wii

for the past four days i have been non-stop wii’ing with my dad and brother in mexico . . . the neighbors came over today to ask what all the shouting was about.  i get so carried away that i was shouting and cussing up a storm.   my dad especially loves the bowling, and i think this picture pretty uh sums up my mexican vacation: IFC drinking a pacifico while dad bowls.
