Aguirre, the Wrath of Cat

So while deciding what my next project was going to be I though about all the qualities I love about my cat . . . like how he tries to eat the peels off the onions that are in the fruit basket, how he randomly freaks out and cuts my arms, face and legs with his wild kicking and how he looks at you with those big confused eyes.
Then the idea occurred to me . . . what he reminds me of is Klaus Kinski in Aguirre the Wrath of God.

I worked all day on my little recreation . . . Tammy was OK with the monkey, but a bit dubious of the helmet

but after giving him a can of wet food and trimming his nails to non-lethal length I got Aguirre, the Wrath of Cat.

I’m not gonna lie, I am still working out the kinks in terms of the camera and hat sizing but I think the similarities between Tammy and Klaus are pretty striking.

Tammy hates Cutie Black Black

So these are some stock videos of when I used to have this cardboard cutout of a cat that I bought in Sommerville. I named it Cutie Black Black. Well, Tammy was never a fan and here are some videos of how Tamlin reacted to Cutie’s presence in the house.

Hooray!! I finally got around to doing this.

I’m going to the store tomorrow to get some supplies for my next project, so until then be satisfied with pictures of the hat that started it all . . .
